About The Classes

Classes are taught using the MikroTik curriculum. Classes will be held in the MUM Hotel (see below). The MikroTik Certification exam will be given during the class with instant results online. The exams are open book and 60% is required to pass.

Classes will be held inside the Hotel conference rooms.  The class is a combination of lecture and hands on labs so students are required to bring a laptop, two 5 foot Ethernet cables and a power outlet strip.
A null modem serial cable (standard 9 pin D connectors) is helpful but not necessary.
The certification exam will be given with instant test results online.
Discount rooms will be offered, but lodging, meals and travel are at the student’s expense.

Please note: The certification exams are prepared by MikroTIk. Passing the exam will depend on fully understanding the class concepts and will require a good base knowledge of TCPIP and networks. LearnMikroTik.com is not responsible for the content of the exams or your ability to pass the exams. A grade of 60% is required to pass and the exam is given “open book”.

Venue

The training will be held Monday thru Wednesday (or Monday and Tuesday for the MTCWE), prior to the MUM.  The MUM hotel does not have enough conference rooms so we will be training in a conference room next door at the Grand Beach Hotel in the Coral East and West rooms.  This hotel less than 500 feet from the MUM hotel we are told.

The MUM hotel is the Miami Beach Resort, Miami, USA. with a rate of $129 per room per night. We have negotiated special price $129 (single/double) for accommodation rooms, fees and taxes. Special rate is valid until room block is sold out or until March 23rd, whichever comes first.

If the MUM hotel is sold out of sleeping rooms, we also have a rate at the Grand Beach Hotel directly next door, although they are more expensive, $279 per night.  At the Grand Beach Hotel, each individual guest must make their own reservations by calling 1-877-538-8666 prior to March 27, 2015. They must identify themselves as members of the Mikrotik Training Group.  All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card.

Overview

Class Time: 3 days, class begins Monday morning at 8:00 am sharp and ends with the certification test the last day by 6:00 pm.
All students attending and taking an exam will receive one free RouterOS Level 4 license

Cancellations

In case you need to cancel your participation at the seminar, a written notice should be sent in by e-mail to [email protected] prior the seminar. There is an administrative fee of US$100 for refunds. There is no refund for training fee paid, if cancellation is received less than 10 days before the event.
